I attended the DXC Seattle over the weekend. If you have no idea what it is, it's a place where serious sneakerheads come together to either trade, sell, and buy shoes. I was eyeing a pair of '99 Cement Jordan 4s, unfortunately I didn't get to buy anything due to lack of funds, but I was pleased about the event. You'd be surprised of the prices raging from $20 all the way up to $800. Anywho, it definitely brought a whole culture of enthusiast together and share an interest.

Realizing Christmas

Wow, I didn't even realize Christmas was just a few days away. Must have loss track of time between being lazy, playing games, naps, watching tv. I got all I can ask for this year though, starting school, my plasma tv and xbox, a car, my family and friends, and my wonderful girlfriend. It really has been quite a guessing to what I had to write down on my gift exchanging list. All I can think of was things that could help benefit me in any way towards college. I asked for a whole lot of gift cards to like grocery stores, or fast foods because you just have those days as a college student, but if you really wanted to needed to know and go about your way getting them for me - well here's your shot..

maybe a pack or two of those white tees from Costco, the Kirkland brand, yee buddy - that'd be nice. Bunch of hoodies, neutral colors (black, dark grey, maybe a shade of green, nothing bright.. eh) I like 'em thick. Keep me warm and stuff. Nothing fancy - don't even have to be name brand just thick, like my women; just playin'. I'm not gonna lie I kinda gave in to the Nike Frees, but until they make another pair of Air Max 1's I can wait. Not insinuating anything. A Panera Bread gift card and or Urban Outfitters would be dope, a cheap carabiner for my keys would be very helpful. And if by chance someone rich came upon my blog, can you please help pay off like half my tuition, and buy my tools for next quarter.

I know I could have wrote all these things down for my family to get but knowing them, (sigh) they hardly ever get things right or get what you asked or purposely get you something else. No disrespect, its just I know filipino moms and aunts. Nah mean? aha.

Winterbreak

Since I have a few minutes to burn 'til I fall asleep, gonna update you guys about last week's quarter - finals, plans for winterbreak, etc etc. I really don't know when the next time i'll updating this since I'm on my winterbreak now. A much needed time to spend with family and friends. Don't worry though, I will be documenting every single fun thing that I do. I'm actually working on a compilation video.

So finals was surprisingly simple and easy than I thought it would be. But I shouldn't be surprised though, I spent a great deal studying my shit. If I keep this up, getting thru this AA will be a breeze. I really thought I was gonna end up failing my shit. But no, that didn't happen damn raped 'em.

So usually Steph rides with me back home but she had other plans. And I was fortunate enough to be accompanied by my brothers from another. Its been a long time since I hung out with them. Gonna kick it tough, hopefully, over winter break. and Matt. and Mary, and my lovely girlfriend.

well that's all I can think of at the moment, I getting really sleepy. oh yeah and christmas this year is at my house, and new years is at my grandma;s house.

oh and I'll be posting up my christmas list later.

Knowing that this qtr is going to be done in just least than 2 weeks tickles me in my pants. English 101 kicked my ass. Glad I'm gonna be outta there, hopefully tonight is it's last essay. With next qtr coming up, the fact that it'll be 18 credits, got damn. I'm going to be so tired, don't worry though, I'll pull through.. hopefully. The cons of it currently out weight the pros, well, there is no pros about next qtr. I guess I'm just happy to have made it this far. I have tools to buy but I don't have the money. Tuition jacked all my financial aid which wasn't even enough. So the money I had to pay that with leaves me with nothing to pay my tools with. fuckin' America, swear. Most of my classmates got their tools already - just me and like 4 other people. I don't know.. hopefully some good karma comes my way soon. I'm trying to make the best of everything, I hate feeling stressed and hopeless. Thinking too much making me get angry and grow more white hairs on my head. well you guys take it easy, happy holidays.

Got some free time to blog since I'm waiting for my patties and gravy to finish baking in the oven. In my attempt to make the highly popular "Loco Moco" dish, I realized most of the work was cut out for me since my loving mother bought cooked patties and canned gravy so all I had to do was pop it in the oven to cook. Aside from my late night dinner, a quick recap of my Thanksgiving.

It was home, nothing new, but it was home nonetheless. Got my daily compliment from the grandma, which was always nice. Food was warm and hearty, and I surely missed it. Although, I was quite disappointed in myself. I didn't eat as much as I thought I would. I think it was due to me hanging out with the girly men. I call my family of guys girly men because when they get too much to drink they start to laugh like girls.

After my all the eating, movies, and talk, took a quick nap before we head out for the black friday shopping. I doubt any of my family members knows about my blog so I'll tell you guys my secret. So with this years holidays, with the tough economy and all, we did a gift exchange. I did one with just my family and then my whole family. I happen to pull my dad's name in both, which is pretty funny. He asked for thermal pants, socks, 1/2 inch wrench, 2 gallons of car oil, and the a 60" LCD Samsung. Funny right? As I read the list from top to bottom, I said to myself ok its a nice reasonable list, and then BAM! It hit me, laughed to myself.

My brother and I got our games for the Xbox that we've been wanting for. Logged in about 50+ hours of playing time.

I was glad the pass was still nice and bare for me to drive through safely. I'm not a bad fan of the winter season, I like all the spirit, warm colors, and presents the holidays brings though, hehe. Not that I'm back home another 2 weeks of this then home again.

Bittersweet Pt. Camera

So I've sold my camera, it was definitely bittersweet to have to part from it. Lots of accomplishments and memories shared. The whole process was cliche with craigslist and somewhat a scary experience. But, I was fortunate to have someone cool buy my gear. Shout outs to my homie, Mandac who accompanied me in the sell. My camera is still in good hands so that's a plus. So my journey ends and starting again. Laying low for awhile, might pick up the film camera again, or get a point and shoot. Who knows?

Last written post was dated back on October 2, I've certainly done a good job on letting you guys know what's been going on in my life. ha, nothing exciting to be honest. How is everyone though? Hope all is well. So I'm in college once again as a full time student. Pursuing a profession in the medical field as an Optician. So if any of you need a glasses you know who to look for. If you guys are curious as to what kind schedule I have well.. I start early in the morning - 7am to be exact, and my day ends around 4pm. I come home do work, then talk to my girly. I don't have the spare time to talk to you guys, sorry about that, aha. I gotta do me though, respect.

1st quarter went by surprisingly quick, 4 weeks left, and I'm pretty proud of myself. Made a handful of friends, filipino friends, who at first glance I thought weren't. Classes are pretty easy so far, but demanding. English is a fckn joke, Professor is damn smart I'll give him that, but he can't teach. Other than that, SCCC is coo.

With Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Winter Break not too far ahead, I can't wait to be home. I miss the food and my xbox ;) I'm just playin'. Home would be good though, it crazy out here in Seattle at times. There's the occasional weirdos on the bus that'd be yelling so someone? People watching porn on their iPads casually in the college cafeteria. So it would be nice going home to my normals folks and family. I think the last time I saw my grandma she said I gained weight (compliment), I plan to make the same impression when I see her. My appetite has been mad hungry now that I'm in control. Sure do miss mom's cooking.

Black Friday is next week, I been working out and saving up. Yeah, you heard right, working out. I gotta be able knock people down to get what I want. Last year, I heard some old guy got trampled and died. As much as I don't want to believe it, these things do happen (source: WORLDSTARHIPHOP). I was thinking about doing my black friday shopping in Seattle but after some consulting with friends, I decided to do it back home. aha, crazy stories I've heard.

Also I wanted to let you guys know that I'm selling my camera gear. Gonna lay low for a bit and focus on my studies. I can use the extra cash for my everyday necessities.

I know I haven't been blogging but don't worry I got most of what's been happening on camera. I apologize though. I'm really tired and that's due to the fact that I'm slowly going back to my typical school sleeping hours. Well so far it's been good. Health-wise, studies, and work.. yeah work. Lens Crafters in like 2 weeks from today. On top of that, I just recently got approved for financial aid, thank g! There was a misunderstanding, supposedly they thought I had completely my AA already therefore my ineligibility.

Evrything seems to be turning around for the better now, not that things were worse before but I know how hard the folks work to provide necessities for me so the help definitely lightens the load. Aside from the whole financial stuff, Seattle weather has been pleasant. Doing grocery shopping is pretty fun, bought myself some peperoncini, pepper jack cheese, hill shire turkey, red velvet cupcakes, and beef jerky. With that being said bought myself a limited edition HENNESSY X KAWS as an early b'day present. Shout outs to Ron. Another shout out to the barbers at Bach's Barbershop.

There's one girl who deserves the most recognition though, and that's my girlfriend. She been with me through this and whole way. I appreciate all that she's helped me with, love you.

A new chapter of my life is just around the corner, three weeks to be exact. Will be attending Seattle Central for their Opticianry Program. Really excited and looking forward to starting. Making prescription glasses and shit for all you blind folks. But before I can settle into Seattle, I get myself an apartment which still haven't found. It's the commute that's the biggest concern, my folks want me living where there's a metro bus available. It's really hard to find a place that will comute me direct.. well lets just say I have no idea where to start, I got a list of apartments but no idea if there's a bus near there. I'm buggin' out..

My girly girl graduated from her nursing program yesterday. I couldn't miss it, so I flew over to celebrate a very special occasion with her and her family. Despite my one week stay, we made the best of it. I got to bond with the family more, and I tried my first Wingstop, which was BOMB! I'll be back in a few weeks after my graduation so don't even trip.

I want to say that, I'm very proud of you. Nursing follows one of many traits that we all know, they put themselves before others; comforts them, takes care of them during roughs times. And that is something you simply give, not because you can or have - it's because that's who you are, a caring person. I am very lucky to have you.

having a drink of it today made me curious, I remember watching movies and my uncle telling me about cocaine in coca cola, hence the name. So I looked it up..

Pemberton called for five ounces of coca leaf per gallon of syrup, a significant dose; in 1891, Candler claimed his formula (altered extensively from Pemberton's original) contained only a tenth of this amount. Coca-Cola did once contain an estimated nine milligramsof cocaine per glass, but in 1903 it was removed. Coca-Cola still contains coca flavoring.

After 1904, instead of using fresh leaves, Coca-Cola started using "spent" leaves — the leftovers of the cocaine-extraction process with cocaine trace levels left over at a molecular level. been out of the sneaker game for a good (almost) 7 years now. hearing about 2011s line up of Jordans is ridiculous. i carry no heat.. to name a few that I personally, wishing to get.. grapes, cement 4s, cardinals, and concords. this is a just a rumor though. so we won't know what to expect.. I suggest we all just save. And if not, all that hard work earn money can be put into something else. I got my eyes set on the 4s though. not sure, but we'll see. good luck, have a good week all.
